Samsung Provides AES 256-Bit Encryption On SSDs

Solid state drives have a number of advantages over traditional hard drives. They're faster, less noisy and more reliable in general. But now, Samsung's line of SSDs have another huge benefit: self-encryption. Samsung has announced this week that they have the only SSD to feature government-grade AES 256-bit encryption for heightened security, which is said to provide the highest level of protection against data loss.
