LaCie announced the addition of 3TB hard drive capacity options to its LaCie d2 USB 3.0 and LaCie 2big USB 3.0. With this announcement, LaCie’s 2big USB 3.0 is now available with 6TB of total storage. Because the storage solution uses USB 3.0, it also gets a boost in speed—it's capable of reaching 306MB/s.
